Just keep some tissues handy as it does pull on those heart strings. Ghost Giant is a heartfelt puzzle story in VR about trying to keep life together with a little help from a very big friend. I don’t want to spoil too much about this game, other than letting you know it is simply amazing and well worth the asking price (if not a little more). This is not just a good game, its a moving game, a game that puts my faith back into VR and a game I know wouldn’t be half as enjoyable if played on a 2D screen. Despite is wonderful, happy looking cartoon world that is fully interactable, this is a dark game, with dark lessons on depression and anxiety for you to learn.

Ghost Giant is probably THE best game I have played on the Oculus Quest for a number of reasons. Review: I will say it now so that it is out of the way. It’s not a game that constantly discusses depression. Discover Louis’ world, meet its eccentric inhabitants and experience a heartwarming, and sometimes heartbreaking, story. Ghost Giant is, as we made clear in our full review, a remarkable game that handles the subject of depression with skill and care. Build trust with Louis by helping him overcome big – or even gigantic – obstacles.
